I made pretty things to get through some dark days. As the dark days piled up, so did the things. My husband was like, no more making until some of this <points to piles> is gone. So, I googled local craft shows, did my share of complete + total busts in elementary school gyms, and over time collected experience at big venues and found a rhythm, a niche, a crowd, a purpose.

My kids finally stopped crying; they are now confident, creative, personality-heavy teenagers. 

 

And Yarnival stopped being a desperate creative distraction; it is now my full time job. As a strong plus, I get to share this adventure with my mom, who has partnered up with me in business.

 

Love is an understatement. We dig what we do hard.

 

All of it.

 

Making our classic items, designing new items, planning our show schedule, figuring out the layout and equip needed to highlight our products at shows, traveling to different exotic midwest cities to pop up shop + sling hella good goods, chatting up new customers, loving on repeat customers, and now the latest...pursuing an online wholesale shop with our best merch options + a win-win mentality.
